Returning your Library items

You can return your Port Moody Public Library items to our external book drop, located in front of the Library, at any time. This external book drop is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. 

When the Library is open, you can also return your items to the internal book drop in the hallway, before you enter the Library. 

Overdue items

Fines can be paid in person at the Library's Accounts Desk. If you are late returning your items or if you renew them after the due date, the following fines apply:

Special kits and book sets

Lost items

If you lose an item, you will be charged the price of the item and a processing fee. 

Damaged items

If you damage an item, you will be charged a replacement cost and a processing fee.

Get due date reminders via text and email

You can get text and email notifications before your items are due. Visit the Library and see Accounts Desk staff to sign up for this service.
