LinkedIn Learning (formerly known as Lynda.com) is an online learning platform available for free through the Port Moody Public Library.

With LinkedIn Learning, you have access to over 16,000 online video courses, including courses in other languages (English, French, German, Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, and Portuguese). 

How to use LinkedIn Learning on your computer

Log in with your Port Moody Public Library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number). To ensure that you are getting free access to this resource, go through the Library's link below so LinkedIn Learning knows that you are a Library member.

How to use LinkedIn Learning on your phone or tablet

Download the LinkedIn Learning app for Android or Apple. Open the app, tap "sign in", then select "Sign in with your library card". The library ID is portmoodylibrary.

Press "continue" and you will be asked to enter your library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number). 

Note: You do not have to have a LinkedIn account to use this resource. Furthermore, LinkedIn Learning is not tied to your LinkedIn profile. Nothing you do on LinkedIn Learning will appear on your profile.

Mango Languages

Mango: Language is an adventure

Mango Languages is an online language learning tool with courses for over 70 languages, including English and American Sign Language (ASL). It is deal for beginners or travellers who want to learn a few common phrases for their next trip.

How to use Mango Languages on your computer

Log in with your Port Moody Public Library card number and PIN (last four digits of your phone number). To ensure that you are getting free access to this resource, go through the Library's link below.

Click the "Sign Up" button to create a free account. Enter your email address and create a password.

Open the app, tap the "Log In" button, and log in with your email address and the password you created.

    Online version of the British Columbia Building Code, Plumbing Code, and Fire Code. 
  • BC Laws Online
    Laws, bills, regulations, ministerial decrees, gazettes and other legal resources in digital format
  • Consumer Reports
    Product reviews and ratings on appliances, cars, electronics, and more.
  • LinkedIn Learning
    (Formerly known as Lynda.com) Over 16,000 online video courses on topics including business skills, web development, audio and video production, graphic design, and more. Available to Port Moody residents only. Before you start using LinkedIn Learning, you will need to give your consent to your data being accessed and stored outside of Canada.
  • Mango Languages

    BC vehicle safety and inspection standards and related legislation. Available in-Library only.
