The Port Moody Public Library's Digitization Station lets you convert photos, negatives, slides, family videos, cassette tape recordings and more into digital formats. The station also offers a variety of creative multimedia software allowing users to edit their media files.
If it is your first time using the station for digitizing, we will provide an orientation session for you. Depending on what you are digitizing, an orientation typically takes anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes. We will show you how to use the equipment and digitize an item together. You will need basic computer skills to use the station.
After you have attended an orientation, you can book the station to digitize materials on your own.

If you are interested in using the station for the creative software only, you are welcome to book the station without attending an orientation.
Please note: An orientation is required before using the digitization equipment. If you book a digitization session without prior training, your session will be cancelled and you will be asked to book an orientation.
