The Port Moody Public Library provides volunteer opportunities for teens ages 13 and up. You can get experience, leadership skills, and volunteer hours working with kids and adults.
All volunteers receive a reference letter with hours volunteered at the end of the program.
The teen volunteer application process includes the following four steps:
Book Buddies |
Share stories and books with kids to help them improve their reading skills. For teens 13+. |
Code Buddies |
Help kids learn how to code in Scratch, a block-based programming language. Build games and animations together. You do not have to know how to code to be a volunteer. For teens 14+. |
Homework Help |
Be a mentor and help kids in grades 1-5 with their homework. For teens 13+. |
