The Port Moody Public Library provides volunteer opportunities for tweens and teens ages 10 and up. You can get experience, leadership skills, and volunteer hours working with kids.
All volunteers receive a reference letter with hours volunteered at the end of the program.
How to apply
The teen volunteer application process includes the following four steps:
- Fill out an application form online. We will contact you after we review your application.
- Come in for an interview.
- Complete a Police Information Check with the Port Moody Police Department (instructions will be provided upon acceptance).
- Attend training before the program starts.

Note: Our Book Buddies and Tutoring programs are currently full for the November-December period. Applications submitted will now be considered for placement in the January-February period. Thank you for your interest and understanding!
