Borrowing and returning materials during our limited access phase

During the Port Moody Public Library's limited access phase, we have made some temporary changes:

  • You can borrow all items for three weeks.
  • Our external book drop, located at the front of the Library, is open 24 hour, 7 days a week.
  • Late fees have been reinstated.

Loan limits

You can borrow up to 50 items at a time at the Port Moody Public Library.

Check due dates of your items

Sign in to your account online to see when your items are due.

Renew your items

Renew your items in one of the following three ways:

  • Sign in to your account online.
  • Call 604-469-4575 and select option 2 for our automated renewal system, or call 604-469-4575 and select option 4 if you would like to speak to a staff member.
  • Visit the Accounts Desk or the self-checkout machines at the Library.

Almost everything you borrow can be renewed twice if no one else is waiting for it, except for Express Books, Express DVDs, and Interlibrary Loans.

Get email reminders before your items are due

Sign up to get email notifications in one of the following three ways:

  • When applying for a new library card, provide us with your email address.
  • Visit the Accounts Desk to add an email address to your existing account.
  • Log into your account online. Click your username in the top right corner, select My Settings, and add your email address.
