Take our computer and technology classes

We offer a variety of free computer and tech classes throughout the year. These programs are perfect for beginner and intermediate users. Learn more about your computer, phone, tablet, programs and applications, or other tech topics.

See our programs and events calendar for upcoming classes. You can use the "Computer and Tech" filter on the left to limit what shows up on the calendar.

Make a tech help appointment

You can book a 45-minute appointment with library staff to get your beginner-level computer and mobile device questions answered. 

Examples of questions we can help with

  • Getting to know your laptop, smartphone, or tablet
  • Emailing and texting family and friends
  • Using computer programs like Microsoft Word
  • Organizing your computer files
  • Downloading and using different apps on your phone or tablet
  • Using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more
  • Downloading library eBooks and audiobooks

Examples of questions we cannot help with

  • Repairing or troubleshooting computer hardware
  • Removing viruses or malware
  • Doing online banking or shopping-related transactions
