About the library

We carry out our business on the ancestral and shared traditional territory of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qiqéyt (Qayqayt), qʼʷa:n̓ ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), Stó:lō (Sto:lo), səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Peoples, and extend appreciation for the opportunity to work on this territory.

The Port Moody Public Library Board establishes policies to govern and guide library operations.

Donate to the Library

Donations allow the Port Moody Public Library to enhance its services and meet changing community needs. Please consider giving a gift to the Library in the name of a friend or loved one to celebrate a special event or in memoriam. Monetary donations of $20 or more are tax deductible and will receive a tax receipt.

You can give to the Library in several different ways, including giving a one-time monetary gift, giving to our endowment fund, or leaving a gift in your will.

You may designate your gift for a specific library service, sponsor a book and other material for the collection, or let us use your donation towards our greatest need. Funds can help us upgrade our equipment, refurbish the facility, purchase new books and specialty collections, or expand services and programs.
