Accessibility at the Library

The Port Moody Public Library is committed to providing accessible and inclusive library services for our patrons. This page provides information and updates on the Library's actions towards implementing the requirements of the Accessible British Columbia Act.

The Accessible British Columbia Act outlines provincial regulations on how to better identify, remove, and prevent barriers to individuals with disabilities in our communities. We will work towards improving accessibility at our Library, including:

  • Participating in an accessibility advisory committee
  • Developing an accessibility plan
  • Providing an opportunity for patrons to make recommendations on how to improve inclusivity and access in the Library
