You can send print jobs to the Port Moody Public Library using your computer, phone, or tablet.
Printing Costs
Our self-serve printer takes coins. You can also pay by debit or credit card at the Accounts Desk. Ask the Information Desk staff for an override if you need to pay by debit or credit.

Sending a print job to the Library
There are three ways to send print jobs to the Library. Select the method you want to use below or view our instructional video to learn how.
Note that using the Share functionality on your smartphone when sending a wireless print job to the Library will cause it to print incorrectly. Please follow the directions below to ensure your wireless printing is successful.
Upload files from your computer

- Go to our wireless printing site to get started.
- Select printer:
- Black and white or colour
- Paper size (letter 8.5x11, legal 8.5x14, or ledger 11x17)
- Single- or double-sided
- Enter your email address.
- Click Browse and select the file you want to print from your computer.
- Click the grey arrow button to go to the next screen.
- Enter number of copies. If you only want to print certain pages, select which page(s) you want.
- Click the green print icon.
After you have sent your print job, visit the self-serve printer/photocopier at the Library. On the computer next to the printer/photocopier, enter your email address used to submit your print job to release your printing.

Send files from your email
|
Send your file as an email attachment, or forward an email you want to print, using the printer address that matches the settings you want.
Example: to print a black and white, letter-sized, double-sided attachment, send it to printer address pmpl-library-bw-2sided@printspots.com.

After you have sent your print job, visit the self-serve printer/photocopier at the Library. On the computer next to the printer/photocopier, enter your email address used to submit your print job to release your printing.

Upload files using the PrinterOn app
|
- Download the PrinterOn app from the App Store or Google Play.
Connect to the Library's printer:
- Open the app and tap the no printer selected button.
- Tap the search icon at the bottom, then type in "port moody".
- Tap the printer you would like to use. The printer's name corresponds to the settings you want (e.g. black and white, letter-sized, 2-sided).
- On the main screen, tap the type of file you want to print:
- Documents: stored on your phone or your phone's cloud storage's app (e.g. Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud)
- Photos
- Web: enter the webpage address to print
- Email (available only on the Apple app): You will be asked to connect and sign in to your email account.
- After choosing the file you want to print, tap the printer icon on the top right corner.
- On the next preview screen, tap the settings icon on the top right corner to change the number of copies if necessary (default: 1 copy), or select the range of pages you would like to print.
- Tap the green print button at the bottom.
- Enter your email address on the next screen.
- A banner will appear near the top of the app screen to advise you of the status of your print job.
After you have sent your print job, visit the self-serve printer/photocopier at the Library. On the computer next to the printer/photocopier, enter your email address used to submit your print job to release your printing.
