Olive and Toni were rats on an adventure. Together they had climbed mountains, fought snakes, and made friends with cats (well just one cat really, and she was a house-cat). But today they had a new challenge.
"We're down to our last donut!" wailed Toni, "and we've already finished off the sardines, crackers, and pickled eggs."
Olive didn't look bothered. "Don't worry my friend, we're rats-- we can eat anything!"
"But there's no garbage bins out here in the woods, Olive. Who knows what any of this green stuff will do to us." replied Toni.
What should Olive and Toni do?
Olive and Toni should...
35% Eat the red and purple mushrooms Olive has picked
65% Climb a tree to look for a town or a cabin that has a garbage bin instead.
Heeding Emily's warning that the mushrooms could be poisonous, Olive and Toni decided to climb a tree to look for a town or a cabin that has a garbage bin instead. They chose the biggest and tallest tree in the entire woods, and up and up they went, until they reached the top of the tree and found a hole occupied by...
70% Owl
30% Squirrel
"Look! My SkipTheDishes is here. Mmm... my dinner looks super fresh!" the owl said.
"Run, Olive," Toni screamed as she dragged Olive away from the tree hole. They ran back down the way they came as quickly as they could. Olive glanced back and saw the owl in pursuit. There's no way they could outrun an owl, so she knew she needed to come up with a plan.
"A disguise, Toni! We need a disguise!"
What should Olive and Toni do to fool the owl?
56% Cover themselves in moss and together, pretend to be one two-headed monster.
44% Use leaves as wings and pretend to be baby owls.
Down the tree Olive and Toni scurried, leaping the last few feet into the undergrowth.
"Stick with me, Olive! Grab my arm!"
Olive linked arms with Toni as they pulled an uprooted sheet of moss around and over them like a hooded cloak. With four glowing red eyes, two sharp sets of front teeth, and a shaggy green coat, the rats had transformed into a mosstrocity.
WIthout a moment to spare, the owl landed next to them...
How does the owl react to Olive and Toni's disguise?
85% Tilts her head and asks, "Whoooo are you?"
15 % Takes one look and flies away in fright.
The owl tilted her head and asked, "Whoooo are you?"
"You dare to ask who I am?" the mosstrocity boomed.
Toni clambered on to Olive's back under the moss and stood up tall on her shoulders. They towered menacingly over the owl. The owl shrank away from them into her feathers.
"I am the most powerful monster in this forest! I am the fiercest creature in this wood! I am the most cunning, stunning, fastest running, weakness shunning..."
Toni paused, looking for another rhyming word, "I've got a smelly onion!"
"You've got a what?" whispered Olive.
Toni shifted his weight uncomfortably and lost his footing. The two rats toppled on to the forest floor. Now, instead of a menacing monster, it was clear they were nothing but a couple of silly, scared rats tangled in a pile of moss.
