Join us for a day of writing at the Port Moody Public Library's Writers Fest! The day will be full of author panels and workshops for writers of all ages. There will also be an opportunity to browse our local author tables, talk to the authors, and pick up some new books!

In this workshop with celebrated author Tanya Boteju, we'll talk about what stands in the way of getting words on the page, and some possible methods for un-sticking ourselves. Participants should bring their writing tools and an open, curious mind.
Tanya Boteju (she/her) is the author of Kings, Queens, and In-Between (which was named an Indie Top 10 Pick of the Summer by the American Booksellers Association, a Rainbow Lost selection, a Best Teen Book of 2019 by Indigo, and a Barnes & Noble Best YA Book of May) and Bruised (a Junior Library Guild Gold Standard Book). She is an English teacher and writing living on the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh First Nations (Vancouver, Canada).
