Do you love art? Are you an avid reader? Enter the Port Moody Public Library's Teen Advisory Group Cover Art Competition to turn your interests into an amazing piece of art! You will have the opportunity to win prizes and have your artwork featured by the Library.
In this contest, we want you to redesign a book cover that is meaningful to you. This could be hand-drawn, painted, or digital - the sky's the limit! Choose an art form that you think will best represent the book.
This contest is open to anyone between the ages of 6 and 18. Winners will be chosen for three different age categories, 6-10, 11-15, and 16-18.
Rules for the contest:
- Each entry must include your name, age, contact info, and 2-4 sentences explaining why you chose your particular book.
- Digital submissions should be 2550x3300 pixels. Print entries should be 8.5x11 inches.
- All participants should be between 6 and 18 on the submission date (November 7, 2022).
- All entries must be submitted between October 17, 2022 and November 7, 2022. Submissions can be dropped off at the Port Moody Public Library’s Information Desk or emailed to tagcoverart@gmail.com as an attached jpg, png, or PDF file. Late entries will not be accepted.
Winners will be announced through the Port Moody website on November 14. Winners will be contacted directly.
