Why Kings Confess is the ninth book in the Sebastian St. Cyr Mysteries series. This series is great for historical crime thriller fans. Set in Regency England, 1813, the story involves a gruesome murder of a young French physician. The case draws aristocratic investigator Sebastian St. Cyr and his pregnant wife, Hero, into a dangerous, decades-old mystery, as a wrenching piece of Sebastian’s past puts him to the ultimate test.
I really enjoy reading this series, and love how true historical facts are written in all the books.
