If you are planning to visit the Port Moody Public Library this weekend, we want to let you know that there are a number of big events happening in the area that may impact your trip to the Library and availability of parking spots. It's going to be a busy and crowded one.
The traffic circle in front of the Civic Centre will be closed starting from 12pm to set up for The Search for the Perfect Pint event on Friday, May 2. Our external book drop will remain open, but you will not be able to drive up to it. The event anticipates around 600 people.
Read more comics! Stop by the Library between 9:30am to 4:30pm and pick up three free comics to take home and keep in celebration of Free Comic Book Day. Come and discover new artists, writers, and comic series. There will be comics for all ages to choose from. Sponsored by Hourglass Comics & Games.
The 29th Annual Fingerling Festival will be held from 11am to 3pm. Help release 40,000 salmon into Noons Creek at this free family event. There will be fun activities and information booths from over 40 organizations, and a Bobs and Lolo concert at 11:30am and at 1pm.
Hope to see you at one of these events!
