NewToBC Library Champions program is returning this Fall to the Port Moody Public Library, and we are looking for a new group of volunteers.

The Library Champions program offers opportunities for new and recent immigrants to help other new immigrants. Through the program, you can gain valuable skills, such as:

  • Canadian volunteer work experience
  • Better communication skills
  • More confidence
  • New friends
  • A better understanding of the services available at your library and in your community

To be a Library Champion, you must:

  • Be 19 years or older
  • Be a permanent resident but not yet a Canadian citizen
  • Want to volunteer and love libraries and help other people

Come to our information session to learn more about this volunteer opportunity. Register for the information session.
