Are you ready for a challenge? We have prepared a different online activity for every day of the week to keep you busy and entertained. We will provide you with a prompt, and you will have a week to complete your project. We will choose a winner for a great prize every week.

Monday: Writing challenge
Calling all writers! Explore your imagination at home! We will post a prompt or challenge, you have a week to get inspired and write something. We will feature the winning story each week on our library's blog and social media.
Tuesday: Costume contest
Unleash your creativity by using everyday household items to recreate iconic book covers! We will post a picture of the book cover and you can use mops, cardboard, spatulas, or even the kitchen sink to recreate it.
Wednesday: Comic club
Comic lovers unite! Make and share your comics. Join our Facebook group PMPL Comic Club, look for the prompt on Wednesdays at 2pm, and draw a comic based on the prompt, and share it with the group.
Thursday: Coding challenge
Hey fellow coders! Join us for our weekly Scratch coding challenges. Each week we will provide you with a project idea or a coding problem to solve.
Friday: Kids write a play
Kids can become the next Shakespeare by writing a story or play (no limits to how silly!). We will have a weekly challenge that will have five words or objects that must be included in your play. We will pick a winner and our staff will act it out for you.
Saturday: Online scavenger hunt
Love the in-library scavenger hunt for kids? Now try it at home! Visit our Facebook page every Saturday. Starting at 9am, we will give you the clues in the form of a riddle every 15 minutes. You take a picture of each of your answers and submit them as a comment by 4pm. We will randomly choose a winner at the end of the day!
Sunday: Mad lib
We need a noun. We need an adjective. Provide your list of words to fill in the blanks and see who can come up with the silliest story.
